KOSHER CONSULTANCY

Kosher Consultancy

Kosher originated in Hebrew culture, and most people associate it with Jews. However, the process itself is agnostic in the sense that what matters is the purity of the food and conformance to certain criteria, rather than following any religious rituals in its preparation. This is one of the reasons why an increasing number of people are switching to kosher certified products, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian, because the mark ensures purity. Even devout Muslims around the world prefer kosher-labeled foods. This is in addition to a growing number of people from other denominations who have discovered kosher foods to be healthier, safer, and better in every way.

Kosher laws are complex, with specific guidelines for different food products. To qualify for the Kosher label, these food products must adhere to the established laws.

Kosher Define:

DAIRY :

Milk and milk products must be obtained only from kosher animals using the kosher process known as Cholov Yisroel, according to kosher laws.

PAREVE :

To be eligible for the Pareve label, foods must be completely vegetarian and contain no dairy or meat ingredients or components. Fruits, vegetables, grains, fish, and eggs are all considered Pareve. Fruits and vegetables must be thoroughly washed to remove any insects that may be present.

KOSHER FOR PASSOVER :

To be eligible for the Kosher for Passover label, foods must be prepared using only utensils designed specifically for this process, according to Jewish Law. Conformance will be indicated by a “P” next to the Kosher check symbol.
